This khipu was created using information obtained from Numbers and Relations from Ancient Andean Khipus by Marcia and Robert Ascher. At that time, the Ascher's did not differentiate between ply direction, attachment, or barberpole vs. mottled cords. This data is missing, and the khipus will need to be remeasured. Lacking that information, I have assumed, that the cords are mottled, for purposes of reconstruction. Additionally, color choices are, at best, best guesses, since I have never actually seen the khipus.

Ascher Databook Notes:
  1. This khipu is grouped by spacing and color into 11 groups: 9 groups have 4 pendant cords each, 2 groups have 2 pendant cords each.
  2. In groups 4 through 10, positions 1 and 2 have values 0-3 only, position 4 has O or 1 only, and position 3 has at least one subsidiary.
  3. Except for group 11, all subsidiaries on position 1 are undyed.
  4. Excluding subsidiaries, the sum of all cords in positions 1 and 2 equal the sum of all cords in positions 3 and 4.
