Ascher Databook Notes:
1. This is one of several khipus acquired by the Museum in 1907 with provenance Ica. For a list of them, see AS100.
2. By spacing, the khipu is separated into 5 groups of 7 pendants each. Each group has the same color pattern: CB, VG, LB, LB, G, EB/W, LB/W.
3. In each group, the values of the first 2 pendants are the same and the values of the last 2 pendants are the same (with a discrepancy of 1 in group 4). The other pendant values have the same relative magnitudes. Specifically:

For all i=(1,2,...,5)
• Pi1 = Pi2
• Pi3 > Pi4 > Pi5
• Pi36 =Pi7

4. To within 2%, the ratio of the values of the first and last pendants in groups 2-5 are the same. That is:
$\frac{P_{i7}}{P_{i1}} \approx 2.4\;\;\;for\;i=(2,3,4,5)$
