  1. This is one of several khipus acquired by the Museum in 1907 with provenance Pachacamac. For a list of the others in this groups, see UR1097.
  2. By spacing, the khipu is separated into 16 groups of 3 pendants each. Each group has the same color pattern: W, DB:W, W. In every group, the value in position 1 is greater than the value in position 3 which is greater than (or equal to) the value in position 2.
  3. All values on the khipu are between 101 and 755.
