Khipu 3 of 3 (three khipus tied together).

The primary cords of khipu 1 & 2 have been joined by tying them in an overhand knot.The primary cords of khipu 2 & 3 have been joined by winding two mottled cords around each khipu's primary cords.
The mottled cords are the style and thickness of pendant cords, colour codes YB:DB and PR:FB.
The DB yarn of the primary cord is missing in between most of the groups, but can be seen underneath the pendant cords, presummably where it was more protected from exposure to light and moisture.

All cords are made of cotton
