- This is one of several khipus acquired by the Museum in 1899 with provenance Marquez. This group includes KH00116, KH00117, KH0138, KH00142, and KH00143. For a comparison of them, see KH00116.
- By spacing, the khipu is separated into groups that contain different numbers of pendants.
- Assuming that P20 has value 108, the knots on the main cord represent a value that is the sum of the values on the 9 pendants in the last group.
